Clare Island Ferry Company provides indoor & outdoor storage facilities plus cold and frozen storage facilities at Roonagh.
We offer the service to pallet size items of cargo on all sailings. However, for larger items (like drive-on machinery which can’t be loaded on by crane) we have to work around the tides – the slipway is not accessible for every scheduled sailing time, so it is vital that you call us in advance.
Whenever you’re planning to ship any cargo items, please contact us at least two hours before it’s due to travel.
You can check the rates chart for the different types of cargo on this link and check our cargo service terms and conditions here.
Times for the Clare Island cargo service may vary due to the weather and tide. We reserve the right to cancel sailings at short notice due to bad weather.
